Starting to put things back

Before I started I decided to clean up the cross member. I didnt want to remove it as this is a project for the future, but felt it could do with a lick of paint. After hours of cleaning, I tackled it with hammerite and some left over por15.

 New braided hose too 🙂

It was time to start popping things back in, I started with the wiring loom and brake servo. I purchased new wiring clips and a few other bits and pieces to make my life easier.

Everything was the reverse of what I had already done, within an hour it looked like this: A great tip. For your expansion bottle / washer bottles, fill them with clean gravel and hot soapy water shake and this removes a lot of the grime. Alternatively pop them in the dishwasher.

Everything was starting to take shape.

With the battery in, I tested the lights and electrics to make sure the wiring loom was connected correctly, it was, now all it needed was a engine.
