Engine bay & prep

The first job to tackle was the strut tops. New panels purchased from CapriGear made the job a lot easier. Clean up, treat and weld in.

Once that was finished there was a number of areas that needed addressing, including the headlamp pods, a few areas near the fuse box and the battery tray.

With the welding finished it was time to sand down the whole bay and prep it for painting. I have to credit Ash and Craig for the work, they spent hours sanding the bay down and preping it.

Leaving the crossmember and steering column in, it was time for some paint.
